
Holiday internship – French Gastronomy
This program is intended for lovers of gastronomy who will learn the essentials of French cuisine and pastry. The courses are adapted to students of all levels. At the end of the internship, a meal will be organized to allow them to share their culinary talents with other interns.
ORGANIZATION OF A TYPICAL WEEK
Morning
Trainees will be introduced to the basics of gastronomy through theoretical courses on French cuisine.
Objectives :
- Know the different products of the different food groups, learn to associate them, substitute them, reveal them;
- Know the different culinary techniques;
- Discover the tastes and flavours to compose balanced dishes and tasty meals.
This time will be used to develop the end-of-training project.
Après-midi
Trainees will put into practice the skills acquired in the theoretical courses. They will learn new recipes, sweet or salty from French cuisine. Little chefs in the making! They will be put in competition and their creativity and imagination will be solicited.
They will have the opportunity to prepare the recipes served at the end of the internship.
Evening
Evenings animated with talent around games, songs, discoveries…
Week-end
Students who do several sessions in a row will have the opportunity to enjoy weekends full of activities. Cultural and recreational outings are organized every Saturday and Sunday. City visits, monuments, museums, live shows (Theatre, One Man Show, Concert), sports events (football matches, basketball, volleyball,…), outings to restaurants,… the students are led to leave the school accompanied by carefully selected visits organized for their greatest pleasure.
