How did you hear about Tersac?

I told my father I wanted to go study in France, so he searched the web for private schools. We chose Tersac because they have a 100% success rate for the Baccalaureate.

Why did you decide to study / speak French?

I have two reasons : first because it’s a beautiful language, and second because I am passionate by aeroplanes and I would like to study at Airbus Lycée in Toulouse later.

Do you think you have improved since you came? Explain.

Yes! I first came here last year for one month; my level was very bad then! But after one year, now I can speak very well and I can even understand French people speaking fast. I think I did amazing progress.

What is your school project? What do you want to do in the future (job)?

In the future, I would like to be an engineer. I came to Tersac, because it’s not far from Toulouse and Airbus school where I want to study.

What will you remember most about your stay here?

I will remember my friends and the good times we had.

How did you hear about Tersac?

I have studied in American schools in France for the last 2 years. But for my last year in France I wanted to be in a French school and study deeply the language. So with the help of a Mexican agent, we were able to find this school.

Why did you decide to study / speak French?

I have always liked this language, when I was a little girl, I used to tell my parents that one day I would come and study In France.

Do you think you have improved since you came? Explain.

I have really improved, I remember when I first came here, I could understand but I had difficulties with oral expression (vocabulary and pronunciation). I don’t exactly how and when it happened but now I understand perfectly when people talk to me, I think I am almost fluent.

What is your school project? What do you want to do in the future (job)?

I am planning to go back to my home country next for my senior year. Then I want to study medicine. My dream is to become a plastic surgeon, I would love to study in the USA (I also have American nationality). But I must say that I would also love to go to university in France too).

What will you remember most about your stay here?

The progress I have made here, the people I met. Some very fun times , my teachers, the staff, everybody is very nice. I really want to enjoy each moment because the end of the year is coming quickly.

How did you hear about Tersac?

When I decided to come to France, I began to search the web for schools. I came accross the website for Tersac and I was very impressed. So I decided to come here.

Why did you decide to study / speak French?

I am doing it as a subject for the Leaving Cert (Irish bac). I want improve at Tersac to help my Leaving Cert result. I also visit France a lot, so knowing the language is a huge benefit. I think it’s a really nice country, and so I’m considering going to college here. So I would need a very high level of French. If I did eventually get a high level of French, I could end up getting a job in France, or in a French speaking country, and maybe end up leaving here.

Do you think you have improved since you came? Explain.

Yes, I think I have improved hugely. In Ireland, I only studied written French. Therefore, I found it very hard to comprehend and speak the language. Since coming here, I understand oral French much better and have started to speak better. I still find it hard to understand what some students are saying, depending on their accent, and how fast they speak. I can now kind of hold a conversation whereas before coming I could barely speak the language.

What is your school project? What do you want to do in the future (job)?

I plan to do well in school and go to a good college / university. Once I get a good degree I plan to work as an apprentice at a business and learn the trade. When I am confident in my ability, I have to create my own business. Who knows…that business could end up being in France!

What will you remember most about your stay here?

I will remember the people who I met here and the experiences that I spent with them. I met lots of good people here and had lots of fun. I am probably going to remember my crazy week-end in Paris with Charles also.

Nikita Patrick KOLUSHEV
British/Russian 13 years old

How did you hear about Tersac?

I heard about Tersac from my parents who said that they had found a nice school in France, ideal for foreign students willing to learn French.

Why did you decide to study / speak French?

I decided to study French mainly because I think it’s an interesting and beautiful language. Besides I am aware that it is essential to speak at least 3 languages. As I speak English and Russian, I chose French because it is commonly spoken.

Do you think you have improved since you came? Explain.

Ever since I came to Tersac, I have been consistently improving my French.Only recently I learnt the past tenses of all the verbs. Not only have I progressedin vocabulary and grammar but I have also found it easier in socializing with French people.

What is your school project? What do you want to do in the future (job)?

In the future I would like to be a politician and act as a member in the British Parliament and when I retire from politics, I would love to settle down and be a chef in a nice cosy restaurant in London.

What will you remember most about your stay here?

I will almost definitely remember the people I met here. I came across a few unusual individuals including an Irish one.
